Yamaha Driveshaft Shortening
Many Yamaha powered boats can gain more cockpit room and better weight distribution by shortening their driveshaft.
Shafts can generally be shortened by up to 12” or 300mm!
Process Overview:
- Measure your shaft and record how much length you wish to have removed
- Enter this measurement in the drop-down menus above
- Add to cart with any other items and check out
- Your shaft should be shipped to the address listed on your order confirmation
- We measure, cut, and re-machine a new, matching spline into your driveshaft
- Your shaft is shipped back solo or with the rest of your order (if applicable)
Optional:
When purchased with a Minijet cast intake you can ship us both your pump and shaft and we can take care of the measuring - simply set length to 0 inches.
Please Note:
Shipping costs for both directions are NOT included. Customer is responsible for ensuring the shaft arrives and return shipping is quoted once machining is complete.
