Composite Marine Flooring
Long lasting light-weight Coosa Composite that does not absorb water. This is our preferred material for flooring, engine covers, etc.
Constructed with high density, closed-cell, polyurethane foam impregnated with layers of fiberglass. Coosa composite panels serve as a strong, reliable alternative to plywood, unreinforced plastics, or honeycomb composite materials.
- 30-50% lighter than equivalent marine grade plywood
- Virtually no water absorption
- low resin absorption when being coated or bonded to
- Can be cut, shaped, sanded, and machined with standard wood working tools
- Dimensionally stable, will not warp or expand like plywood.
- Will no rot, will not deteriorate around fasteners or holes.
- Can be laminated, painted, sealed, etc.
- Can be attached to other materials using screws, staples, adhesives, resins, etc.
